Munger Place Home Tour: May 3 & 4

4947-tremont-front_lr.jpgWell, folks, it’s open season on home tours. Here’s another perennial favorite: East Dallas’ Munger Place Home Tour. It may seem like every little neighborhood has a tour these days, but Munger Place has cred: About 250 historic residences and a spot on National Register of Historic Places for 30 years. How about those bragging rights? It’s also one of the largest collections of Prairie-style houses in the country. Shown here is a new construction number on Tremont Street. Get tickets, $10, in advance at the Lower Greenville and Preston Forest Whole Foods and Quaint Home Gallery (214-370-9994), or $12 at the tour.
