Coming Up Roses (or Tulips)

It takes a day of Seattle weather to appreciate today’s sunshine. These tulips win the prize of my affection. I gasped when I saw them at the corner of St. Johns and Armstrong, and made Jessica pull over so I could smell and snap them. To the owner of this mid-century house, well done.

Christie’s Caters to Our Needs

I am a simple lady.  I appreciate pretty baubles. I like learning about new things. I am a firm believer in lunch. And above all, I love, love, love cocktails. Imagine my delight when I recieved an invite to Christie’s “Rare Jewels and Gemstones: The Eye of a Connoisseur” event on April 2 and 3 at East and Orient.
