Victory Park Parking Situation
Ever thought, “I’d really like to pop down to Haven for some shopping?” But then wondered–dun dun duh–”where will I park?” Victory Park’s got your back (tires, that is). Today marks the dawn of complementary valet Thursdays through Sundays from noon-5 p.m. The drop-off is Victory Park Lane and Museum Way. (And I know the resemblance is striking, but that isn’t my Jetta featured in the photo.)

I have learned to avoid *anything* at Victory area; Parking is hugely difficult. I like parking my car myself; not valet. At a huge art gallery opening in Victory a couple of weeks ago: Traffic was clogged; Every lot seemed to be for valet only. Wound up parking about 3 blocks away, over by Dick’s Last Resort. A couple of winos were sitting over close by. A long walk. Afterward, a long walk back. I am displeased with the entire Victory development.
My last several trips to Victory have all been hassle-free, the new lot is open and I have found places on the street, some metered, some not. Maybe because everyone is scared of the parking situation and avoiding it.
