Armstrong Evacuation

I decided to flirt with danger run the Katy Trail on Sunday. But first I had to run to the Katy Trail. On my way, I ran up Armstrong. Umm….what’s the deal? There must be four or five houses—in a row—that are for sale in the block west of Abbott. Candy, what’s the story?

Saturday at Highland Park Village

sp08_coll_mayfair_8.jpgYes, you probably go the HPV on Saturday anyway - shopping at Chanel, hair at Frederick Fekkai, lunch at Cafe Pacific, or maybe it’s just milk and dog food at Tom Thumb. Anyway, Saturday from 10 - 6, DMagazine hosts a stroll through Highland Park Village with all kinds of promotions, giveaways, and demonstrations. Go see how Todd Fiscus has made a gazillion dollars - he will be arranging flowers at Avant Garden. I’ll be at Ralph Lauren introducing fabulous new home collections like Mayfair, and American Summer. See you on Saturday.

Eco-Moms

Waterless Toilet

envirolet2.jpgI’m not here yet. But, I am very impressed if you are.

Tommy Bahama Fabrics

harbor-isle-1.jpgNow you can create your own Margaritaville with outdoor fabrics from Tommy Bahama - all you’ll need is the tequila and a little Jimmy Buffett music to create the whole atmosphere. They really are quite tropically festive, especially on the gray days we’ve been having lately. Find them locally at William & Wesley.
