Does anyone know Corey Pope? I’ve heard that he is trying to open a showroom in the Dallas Design Center next to Walter Lee Culp. I can’t seem to find anyone that knows him - I’ve talked to Jim Williamson, David Sutherland, and Kelly Hardage - no one knows. Any answers? You know, I don’t like things going on in my ‘hood without my knowing about it.
He has approached me to represent our line in Dallas (Jed Johnson Home), furniture and fabrics. If you know anything about the showroom I would appreciate hearing.
Sincerely,
Jay Johnson
Hi. They also contacted my employer to submit samples.
Are you participating? Do you have any news?
Cory Pope is a brilliant designer…he created beautiful cabinetry and shelves that hang suspended on the wall for collectibles and my Flat Screen plus floor to ceiling built-ins that turned a room into a library…he and his wife are one of the kindest and most adorable couples in this city! He is Professional and accomplished in anything he does….
Cory is a talented designer who has decades of experience with designing projects for Rockefeller Center, the Bellagio, high-end residential as well as trendy restaurants. Everything he touches shines with originality. He’s a great design neighbor for the “hood”…
Who is Cory Pope? I find it odd that you don’t know if you live in Dallas, He and his wife Jessica own a fabulous high-end bedding store on oak-lawn Casa Da Lino. He is an excellent designer with impeccable taste. I know that he just recently got back from Mexico with Todd events helping them pull off Eli Manning’s wedding. If he is opening a show room in Dallas I want to check it out, because I’m sure it will be fabulous and very very sheik.
Who is Cory Pope? He is one of the most talented designers I have ever met! He helped me to plan a large event and the level of style, professionalism and creativity he brought was amazing! On top of that, he is one of the kindest and most fun people I know. When he opes a showroom I will be one of the first to come to check out all of the tasteful and unique lines he will carry. Dallas and our designers are in for a treat!
It is funny how news travels as well as bad press. I have been in many of Dallas publications and a few were not flattering. Saying this, I want Cory know there will be good and bad press. I wish Cory Pope all the luck with his new venture. Cory has worked on many of my homes as well as my ex-wifes from ground up and look forward to our next.
Who is Cory Pope? Gifted, talented, stylish, and unique. Everything he touches turns to gold. He designed my store Casa di Lino on Oak Lawn, which everyone should come and experience. Just about everyone who enters the store comments on how great the design and energy is. That is Cory Pope - great design and energy.
Cory Pope. I have never looked better; and i owe MOST of it to him. My WHOLE HOUSE for that matter, never looked this good. And if i score this role i’m reading for- i will have him re-do my neighbors house too (inside AND out): THEY ARE AWFUL..i don’t mind the pink flamingos, but the stone garden creatures painted purple kill me (and my property value).
PROFESSIONaly, i had the honor of Designing Christmas for one of the U.S.’s highest end shopping malls (6 square city blocks) in D.C.! Magnificent! He is driven, thorough, mindful and cool. I CAN’T wait!!!
How odd that someone in the Dallas Design Center should not know Cory. But then again, Cory is one who “thinks out of the box.” He’s not the traditional designer who points and supervises - he is intimately involved in every step of the process. Cory has designed or co-designed bars, restaurants, homes, and numerous retail and wholesale showrooms in and around Dallas as well as in New York for various textile houses. In addition to his showroom work he is an incredibly skilled floral designer creating masterpieces for Todd Events and the most exclusicve high-end resorts and casinos in Las Vegas. He has also worked with various corporate clients in San Francisco, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles to create the perfect holiday or everyday attitude.
Cory is an extremely talented designer who has been designing and constructing furniture and accessories for years. He is now making these designs available to an exclusive group of designers in Dallas. If it has his name on it - it is absolutely sure to be magnificent!
I can’t believe you have not heard of Cory! I live in LA and have heard of him. Definitely do your best to find and meet him - worth your time!
Cory Pope is an exceptionally gifted designer! If you’ve never met or worked with him before you owe it to yourself to seek him out.
The soft opening of his showroom was 10/1 in the Turtle Creek area - and I’ve helped him with his website which is located at http://www.corypope.com and is sill being put together. I add his as I know he’s too busy to post something himself. So check him out and definitely find Jessica Martin’s store, Casa di Lino high end luxury bed and bath.
These are two of the most talented individuals in the Dallas market!!
