Someone out there asked me about slipcovers last May — and I just found your answer! Gotta love these blogs:
Just found my way to your May Slipcover S.O.S. post.
I have a small custom slipcover business here in the Metroplex. I have a workroom in my home and have 2 of the most awesome seamstresses who help me stitch slips.
We come out, make a muslin pattern on the furniture piece, pick up the fabric (we sale fabric also) and bring everything back to our workroom for fabrication. Right now we work about 5-6 weeks out.
We have a web site, if you have a minute, take a peak at our gallery to see what we do.
We are not very well known but I honestly believe you will not find better workmanship in all of north Texas!
