I am pleased to report that in many areas recycling a Christmas Tree may be as easy as tossing it on the curb before January 14th. If you aren’t sure about your neighborhood, enter your zip here to find out.

I did not get a repsonse after entering the zip code. In Dallas, I understand that trees are only picked up when the monthly bulk item pickup occurs. I do not understand why Dallas cannot pickup up trees earlier, just as is done in Fort Worth and the Park Cities. There are probably other cities that are more prompt.

Did you check with the city of Dallas? I thought I saw two numbers for the departments responsible for recycling trees…
