Steve Martin: Wild and Crazy Art Collector

Marty Walker is at Art Basel Miami at the moment, and guess who she took the time to drop a line? Her favorite person ever: Me. (Okay, I’m projecting. And Tim Rogers is on the distro, too.) Here’s what she has to say: “My gallery is showing at Aqua Art Fair in Wynwood. Steve Martin, who is quite an art collector just came through the booth. He stopped and looked at Tom Orr’s sculpture. This is the first time for us to show our Dallas artists on an international level, so it is exciting to see people responding to not only Orr, but Frances Bagley, Ted Kincaid, Douglas Cartmel, and Kathy Webster.”
