How Far Will You Walk for Starbucks?

According to City Planning officials, close to 50 percent of Dallas residents are either too old or too young to drive.  So, how far will most people walk to get to a store or transit stop?  One quarter of a mile (give or take a little), according to The Nationwide Personal Transportation Survey.  Perhaps if DART was funded to keep pace with Starbuck’s rapid expansion path our city would be mobilized.
