Tall Countertops

So a Realtor walked through my house today to price it out and she loved my tall kitchen countertops. Apparently, according to her, they are all the rage at the moment. What’s funny is that the house already had them. The story is that way back when, when the house was built, the contractors screwed up and made the countertops much higher than normal, infuriating the homeowner. Ha! So wherever you are out there, Mr. Screw-Up Contractor, thank you very, very much! Anybody else heard about tall countertops being the rage? I’m 5′9″ so they always seemed normal to me.
