Dragon St. Doings

I just spoke to Joel Cooner, whose stunning gallery will be featured in our September issue, and who has been out of Dallas for six weeks - in Utah, canoing the Grand Canyon, and now in Santa Fe. He’s actually anxious to get back, even when I told him it was 104 yesterday, because he’s so excited about everything happening on Dragon St. Newest transplant? The Pan American Art Gallery is moving from it’s location on Lee Park. Now, he says, the Valley House Gallery is the only hold-out, but he doesn’t think they will leave their pastoral North Dallas setting. Maybe just a little satellite gallery, perhaps?
