Venice Beach: the It Spot

Heard it from the mouth of a star at an L.A. screening: Venice Beach, the hottest ‘hood in town. So we checked it out last night–and its true…no more crack houses and run-down boarder pads. It’s a major renovation site, with great restaurants, boutiques, and yes, plenty of teardown potential. We ate at Lilly’s and finished the night off at Pinkberry, another big trendy spot out here.  Knew we were in the right spot when I saw a familiar Dallas face in line. Thought I’d scooped it.
