LA: Green Scene

Candy, we’re on the coast as well and my head is spinning with everything I’ve seen out here. We toured a few homes in Hollywood Hills yesterday and I was so amazed at how clever they’ve become about green design. It is a real priority in home decor, and they’ve mastered the look, inside and out. However, one of my top ten most embarrassing moments was driving up in our rental car–an SUV.  And not just any SUV–a Hummer. I drive a Prius at home, as does everyone out here. So you can imagine my horror when the last rental car available at LAX was this monster. That’s right–me in a Hummer.  I think if it had wings I could fly in it. I am dying….
