WHAT: Whole Foods Market will kick off a new annual program this June called the Go Local Product Referral Program. Food enthusiasts, shoppers and local growers are encouraged to email go.local@wholefoods.com with suggestions for exciting and delicious local products. Please include brand name, product name, and a short description. Buyers will review recommended products in search of distinct and exciting items that meet Whole Foods Market’s strict quality standards.

When a product is officially brought into area stores, the shopper that originally recommended that product will receive a $100 Whole Foods Market gift card as a token of appreciation for helping support local food producers.

WHEN: The entire month of June…and beyond.

WHERE: Whole Foods Market stores in the Southwest and Rocky Mountain regions, which include store locations in Texas, Lousiana, Colorado, New Mexico, and Kansas.
