BRAVA ANN FOX!

The Spring 2006 issue of Room Service Home, dubbed “A Little Spring Notebook,” just arrived. Wall-to-wall charm, very cottage, really smart merchandising. It’s the catalog version of Ann Fox’s Room Service on Lovers Lane, and you can almost hear Fox’s voice in the copy. I don’t think I have ever used the word “precious” and only rarely say “darling,” but when Ann uses those words, her enthusiasm and wonder come through, and it all feels fun. I almost always shop Room Service for last-minute gifts, meaning I am moving too fast to really savor the store. The catalog allows for leisure. We wish it great success.
